Welcome to Timberline Coffee School, Calgary’s destination for hands-on specialty coffee education. Founded by Trent Rollings, a World Coffee Championships Representative and Certified Judge, Timberline exists to elevate coffee professionals and enthusiasts through world-class training and community.
We offer a full range of SCA-accredited courses, private workshops, and masterclasses that blend technical skill, sensory development, and real-world application. Every session is designed to inspire confidence, foster connection, and build consistency in the craft of coffee.

Making quality coffee education more accessible in Canada. That’s why Timberline Coffee School was founded—to bridge the gap between passionate learners and professional-level training. We saw that many baristas, café owners, and coffee lovers struggled to find structured, hands-on learning opportunities that fit their goals. We wanted to change that.
Beyond structured courses, we also wanted to create something truly special—learning experiences that are immersive, adventurous, and community-driven.

I'm the founder and chief educator at Timberline. Coffee changed my life, and I love helping others grow in their own coffee journey. Whether you're a barista, competitor, or coffee professional, I want to share what I’ve learned from years in the industry as a World Coffee Championships Representative, Certified Judge, and SCA Trainer.
